Traditional ethnic dance programs are great learning opportunities for primary and secondary school students. Ethnic dance programs help generate awareness that we all come from different backgrounds with different customs and traditions and that there is richness in those differences. Dance activities provide physical activity that promotes good health and fights obesity.

Videos 4-6 are the outcomes of a six day program at the Chaney Monge School (District 88) in Cresthill, Illinois, where students learned ethnic dances from various countries during their regular physical education and social studies classes, then performed these dances at a school's assembly and Multi-Cultural Fair.
