Sarah Falkoff has been an international folk dancer her entire life. She has studied ballet, tap, jazz, and international folk dancing extensively. Sarah has been an active member of the International Folk Dance Association of University City (IFDA) in St. Louis, MO since 1995. She has been teaching and performing international folk dances for over 15 years.

While away at college, she was an active member and an active teacher for the Indiana University Folk Dancers. Sarah was also an active member of the IU Swing Dance Club. She taught swing dance classes and competed and placed every time in swing dance competitions in Indiana. At Indiana University, Sarah also studied Ethnomusicology in her spare time in addition to majoring in chemistry and education. She is a member of the IFDA performing troupe and has choreographed 2 of their performance pieces.

Sarah has performed at the International Institute Annual Festival of Nations, the Annual Festival at St. Thomas the Apostle Romanian Orthodox Church, the University City Loop in Motion, and the Saint Charles Festival at Frontier Park, among others. Sarah has attended folk dance camps from the EEFC, Autumn Leaves in Nashville, TN, as well as June Camp at Beloit, WI.

She has also attended several workshops from many of the great international folk dance teachers such as Yves Moreau, the late and great Dick Crum, Ahmet Lüleci, Steve Kotansky, Željko Jergan, Miroslav Bata Marčetić, Sonia Dion and Cristian Florescu, the late Olav Jøgan Hegge and Mary Hegge, Roo Lester and Larry Harding, Alex Marcović, and Iliana Bozhanova, to name a few. Sarah has also taken singing classes from Tri Bradkovedchki, Donka Koleva, and Iliana Bozhanova. Sarah is a certified educator and has given dance workshops locally, in state, and out of state.
