Noralyn Parsons grew up with folk dancing parents, who dragged her (gently) with them to their local weekly group, and to folk dance camps around the country. (She met Paul Collins at one of those events, in Berea, KY.).

Noralyn now lives in Albuquerque, NM, and in non-pandemic times, often teaches at the local Albuquerque Folk Dance group. She also calls contra and English Country dances, and hosts a monthly salsa Rueda group. She finds that dancing uplifts her; She loves the movement, the music, and especially the dance community.
